Teamwork implies all team-members doing their share of work, team-spirit will not compensate for that.
We have a lot of focus on softskills in our corporate hiring and evaluation systems. A likeable persons tends to get better feedback than the ones who might be doing a bigger load of work but are less likeable. Yet teamwork is not called teamwork because all the other words were taken. Teamwork is created by combining team and work, which means that every team-member does their share of the work. Softskills and team-spirit do not change that!
